ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The following peoples are eligible to open a Regular Saving Account:
- Residential Individuals (sole or joint account) and who does not have saving account in Pune People's Bank.
- Hindu Undivided Families.
To open a Regular saving account:
- Account will open with initial amount for non-Cheque book Rs. 500/- & for Cheque book Rs. 1000/-
- A maximum allowed withdrawals in a particular month – twice in a week.
- Individuals (Single or Joint Accounts)
- Hindu Undivided Families (HUF)
- Non-Corporate Entities, including Clubs, Trusts, Societies, Associations, Schools
- Executors and Administrators
Rate of Interest & CHARGES
- Rate of Interest is 3.00%* P.A.
Note:
- Saving Bank interest will be calculated on the daily balance maintained in your account.
- Saving Bank interest will be paid at quarterly intervals.
Charges
- Free facilities include Mobile Banking and Passbook. Charges @ ₹0.15 (excl. GST) per SMS, maximum ₹150 + GST per quarter for SB accounts, and ₹500 + GST per quarter for CA and CC accounts. ATM/Debit Card charges are ₹100 yearly + GST.
- Cheque Book facility-Rs 2 per cheque leaf.

Proof of Identity (PoI) And Proof of Address (PoA) :
- Passport
- Voter ID card
- Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card
- Aadhaar Card
Residence Proof :
- Utility bills (electricity, telephone, water, gas) not older than two months
- Property or Municipal tax receipts
Photograph:
- Two passport size photocopy
Documents required for KYC may vary from time to time as per the prevalent regulatory guidelines as well as Bank's internal policy.

Nomination FAQWho is a nominee?
A nominee is the individual who will receive the investment proceeds in case of an investor's demise. In other words, the nominee will be the recipient or the beneficiary of the investments, assets and other funds when their owner passes away.
Who can be a nominee?
Given the nature of this position, a nominee should ideally be a family member who is close to you, like your spouse, your children, or your parents. In some cases, you may assign the position of a nominee to someone else you trust as well, like a close friend.
In case your nominee is a minor, you will also have to provide the details of the minor's guardian, like their name, address and contact information.
Type of Nomination:
Successive – Next nominee will get the amount / contents of locker only if the earlier nominee is not alive.
Simultaneous – All nominees will get the amount together as per their share.
